I can't actually talk, 'cos I like malaleen's Peter/Martha fic, but at least in that one all Peter wanted to do was shag, which isn't an entirely inaccurate portrayal of the character.

I always love how short David Morrissey makes David Tennant look. I've been watching State of Play and loving the DM and JS -ness. I didn't know DM was in the xmas special!!! *it's a small world starts playing* UK telly is such a small world.

You never know, it could be another situation like the Watcher and Four in "Logopolis", except Eleven (Morrissey?) would be corporeal in this case. Or perhaps not. Do we know who Morrissey is playing yet?

It's speculated (snippets of overheard dialogue make me think it's a possibility) that this might be a takeoff on the BF audio "The One Doctor," where a guy goes around impersonating the Doctor. The way the costume looks Doctorish but just a little off makes me wonder.

Especially after the eighty-hour "Merry fuckin' Christmas, now WATCH 'EM DIE!" snoozefest that was VotD, I'm really hoping for a Christmas special with some actual humor and fun along with the scary bits. It all looks quite promising, anyway, from the set photos.

i saw a couple pictures from some site, sort of looking but not because i was afriad of spoilers but, you know, weak. YAH I KNOW I'M LAME. anyway, there were 19th century style posters advertising the opening of The Crystal Palace, so i'm assuming the special takes place in 1851 or so, and thus the fancy waistcoat.

i am obviously hoping that this means there will DINOSAURS in the special.
