Ooh I re-watched that recently along with "Utopia" and Jack's 5 eps from season 1 so I could get his voice in my head - for all the good it did since I ended up writing my 1913 EPIC instead !
The trouble with watching Utopia and SoD though, is that I want Jack/Martha NAO !!!
I love that episode too. I rewatched the other day (and have actually considered rewatching the trilogy tonight as I am out of town for work and BORED), and GOD, how excited was I when it first came on? :D I love it.
Objectively, I don't really think it's the best of the series' episodes, but damned if it isn't my favorite anyway. I was in classic fandom first. I admire Delgado above all others. I have the street cred or whatever to say that I fucking love this batshit!Master.
