I feel like I need to share my crying incident at work yesterday. Crying at work is something that has happened to me on a couple of occasions and, I can tell you, it doesn't do a lot for your self-esteem. This time, however, was a little different. I was sat in the kitchen having my lunch. I was eating by myself for the first time in weeks, so I took advantage of the situation and took my book with me. I knew that Marley and Me would make me cry so I don't know why I thought it would be a good idea to read the ending at work. I got totally busted and one concerned colleague even had to fetch me tissues from the ladies. Man, I'm such a sap.
Anyway, 'twas a lovely book and one I suggest all dog owners read.
Suffice to say, as soon as I got in yesterday, I made a very big fuss of my little boy, who was very pleased to see me - as he always is. The fact that he then tried to attack a skateboarder on our street (he hates the noise) did not ruin the moment in the slightest.
