It's weird how they seem to go through cycles of acceptability. First album, only teenyboppers liked them or something. Then the second album came out and exploded and really butch guys who listen to tough music and make fun of soft tastes were singing their songs and wtf.

I find they help my writing process. Them, Tori Amos, and Grant Lee Phillips. <3

I find them soothing and nice to listen to. Not a fan, not a not-fan. But I certainly don't know what people have against them. In fact, I might go listen to some right now while I try to work on stuff that is making me angry as all get out. They're perfect for that!
