It's ages since I've watched Teachers, but I have a vague recollection of him not being the world's most hygienic bloke, and the fact that he's joined to the hip to Kurt doesn't help. That said, he was always my favourite.

I'm not convinced by the Peter Carlisle thing though. Yes he has Tennant's looks and lovely scottish accent, but he is a manipulative bastard. I think I might actually prefer the driving instructor from "Learners". (OK, so I have a bit of a thing for geeks, what of it?)
