Non-spoilery movie post

I feel as though I have earnt a weekend at home doing sod all. I'm halfway through it and it is going very well, I have to say. Apart from the cold that I'm getting that I'm not talking about as I'm pretending I'm not ill. Two films were watched today which kept me entertained. Hancock was, well, all right I guess. It was a bit lonely god-ish. If I wanted that I could watch an episode of New Who. Will Smith was Will Smith which made it watchable. All right for an hour or two's entertainment. Shall probably not watch again.

Tu£sday on the other hand (yes I finally got to watch it - bloody stupid local cinema not showing it), defo requires rewatching. Not only so because the plot was good - if a little confusing - but there are several scenes where John Simm is gratuitously sucking on a lollipop. GRATUITOUS, I SAY. Hey, I never said I wasn't completely shallow. Plus, if I wasn't totally crushing on Philip Glenister already, I bloody well am now. That man really knows how to squint. *sighs*

Hancock had no idea what movie it wanted to be. The first half funny, the second half angst, and then a nice happy ending tacked on. It was okay but it could have been much better.

Oooooh! I've seen the lollipop-sucking caps. Guh. I just wish he didn't have that hat on. Yes, I am shallow too and I know it. *g*
