I'd post this to doctorwho but, um, I don't want to. Anyway, Digital Spy have a preview of 'Forest of the Dead', and, well KEYSMASH! HOLY SHIT I WANT IT TO BE NEXT WEEK SO BAD. They've also done their red herring thing with the spoilers and I don't know what to think of any of them really.

River Song sometimes shows The Doctor a little respect and asks him about erasure.

The Shadows have a proper vocalist that's not Cliff Richard.

Doctor Moon challenges someone to a game of chess on which millions of lives depend.

The Shadows take hold of River Song's diary and coerce The Doctor into using a gun because of what they discover.

A Gareth Gates-style affliction prevents Cupid from firing his arrow.

River Song tells The Doctor that he is not The Doctor.

The little girl destroys every idiot's lantern to prevent the shadows seeping into present day Earth.

A familiar female face from the past returns to give Donna some advice.

Donna ties a very important knot.

The Doctor is stunned by something River Song whispers in his ear.

So, not only this week do we have to figure out which ones are fake, we've gotta figure them out first as well. Great. Personally, I'm going for the familiar female face to be Rose as there has been suggestions that she features somewhere in these eps. The one about River Song telling the Doctor that he's not the Doctor, well, that's either a red herring based on the botched regeneration rumours or it's her telling him that he's not her Doctor. As for the others...

When I read this one, I was immediately reminded of the Curse of Fenric. So I'm going to guess hope this one is true.

Possible if she says something like, "You're not the Doctor I know."

The Erasure one confuses me.
I assume the second one means that the Vashta Nerada will start talking. I'm having trouble deciding whether that would make them more or less scary. Hmm...
Chess?! I'm getting deja vu, I'm not sure if it's just Harry Potter or something else too.
Ooh, the gun one - does that mean he might have to shoot River?! I can't imagine that, but how exciting.
I get the stuttering reference, but who is Cupid and what is his arrow?
Hmm, The Doctor not being The Doctor. Well, he clearly is, so either she's talking to someone else or she thinks he is someone else. But she called him "Doctor" before, so maybe she knows his real name!
The little girl breaks all the teles. That would mean that the real world is actually real then, and that Doctor Moon was wrong. I assume.
I don't think the familiar face is Rose - I think it's Miss Evangelista.
And I've seen pics of Donna in a wedding dress from this series, sooo unless she loses her memory or something and ends up in the Matrix-style world, maybe it's a flashback? But then, she didn't get married in TRB...
And the whispering could be anything. That she's his wife? That someone's going to die? That Rose is returning? Something about The Doctor himself?

I can believe the gun one. The rest are...um...eh? So Rose talks to Donna? ...DONNA GETS MARRIED? Afflicted-arrow-of-Cupid-prevention...something I...might be able to believe if it wasn't so shrouded in cheesy cryptic language...erasure?

Possibly I'm just being a grammar nazi, but the lower-case 'e' in erasure suggests to me that they're not talking about the band - it might mean erasing memories or something? Like, she wants to erase the Doctor's memories of having met her too early, or she might be about to die and not want him to know how she dies before he's properly met her or, god, I don't know.
