So, in a bid to keep me in the house this week and out of the pub, here is a list of things I wish to watch accomplish:

1. Watch Lost in Austen as the Mothership and my flist are telling me it is brilliant. I preferably want to do this before Wednesday when the last episode airs.

2. Finish watching Galaxy 4. I fear this may well be the most difficult as this is the second time I have attempted to watch this serial. Doesn't bode well for the umpteen recons that I have coming up on my Old School watchlist.

3. Work on my [livejournal.com profile] dw_femslash fic. It's going well so far, actually. I've just left it alone for a bit and it needs some attention.

4. Write a little something for [livejournal.com profile] doctorwho_100.

5. Finish reading The Eight Doctors. Yes, I totally failed at finishing this week. I'm afraid sleep happened on the train home today and not reading.

6. Begin reading New Moon. PROBLEM?

Erm, that's it I think.

On another telly related note, just how bad was Merlin last night? I saw the first 15 minutes or so but then had to leave. I mean, it had UNEXPECTED WHO CAST MEMBERS (and thanks to the anon meme, I realised that Merlin is actually Jethro from Midnight), but it really didn't save it. Maybe I shall watch it for the lols.

2) I watched ep 1 of that (part reconned, part intact), 'cause it was the only one on youtube and read really detailed summaries of the rest and loved it. I don't really have trouble with recons anyway, luckily, and this one had that nice little secret oppression storyline I like going for it with the funny-looking creatures not being bad guys and Vicki being awesome (and poor Steven being a bit useless XD), so...you know.

So, this is about the angsty teen years of Merlin?

It does keep showing me lovely pics of One and Vicki so that is good. Shame I'm not paying any attention to the plot.

Oh, and I have no idea what the hell is going on with Merlin. I was just staring at Eve Myles' hair.

I made it through Galaxy 4 but I don't remember that much about it and I watched it just a few weeks ago. Am not inclined to watch it again anytime soon. I'll really be heading into the Land of Recons as I get farther and farther into the First Doctor era and move on to Two. They need to have better plots than Galaxy 4 did.

I want to watch Lost in Austen too. I have the first three parts, just not enough time to watch all of them and everything else I'm behind on. Today's schedule includes getting caught up on Gossip Girl so I can watch the new episodes and not be behind.

I can't say it's the most enjoyably of serials but I shall continue. I will probably delete it off my hard drive as soon as it's done, as well.

Lost in Austen is so good, and I'm still a newbie when it comes to Austen, so it doesn't matter how much you know about Pride & Prejudice, although I imagine if you are already a fan then there are an awful lot of in-jokes to appreciate.

I've never read the book but the show and the film are good (I even managed to sit through something with Keira Knightley in, blah).

I started watching Lost in Austen today, and had to watch all three episodes. I don't know if it's brilliant, but it's one giant self-insertion fanfic on crack come to life, and it's just so much fun.

I am half way through episode one (had to pause to watch the Strictly results show, yo). I AM SMILING LIKE AN IDIOT PRETTY MUCH ALL OF THE TIME.

I keep bumping things up my pile that aren't [livejournal.com profile] dw_femslash, but the deadline is soooon. I love my plot but it's immensely overcomplicated and multi-pairing and that's exactly how I ended up dropping out of it last time. I am a bit scared of that happening again. Thank you for the prod, though I'm still going to work on something for Day O'Classic first.

I am having dialogue issues, but then, I always do seeing as 90% of everything I ever write is dialogue.
