That was good. No, wait. That was really good. So much to remember! Eeep. Although, it says a lot about where my head is at that the 'Robot' reference got the biggest hooray.

Lady Christina wasn't as annoying in the last half of the episode as she was the first, so I can forget easily about that. I loved her ending. Best ending for any sort of companion for a long time. Flying off in the bus is the way to go, guys. I want there to be fic now. Kthnx.

Now, have I been watching far too much RTD Who, or did that all make sense? I mean, there was nothing plot wise that made me O_O. I can't remember the last time that happened. Oh, wait, I just remembered the 'You look Time Lord' comment. There has to be fic from that, surely.

Of course the star of the show was Lee Evans. I am so glad he didn't die. I'm glad no one died actually. Well yes, there was the bus driver but seeing as that was in the first ten minutes or so, I'm behaving as though that doesn't count. Back to Malcolm, though. He is the Doctor's new best friend. I want an IDK, MY BFF MALCOLM icon NOW. Oh, I just loved him.

Plus, and I hoped there would be, Regeneration!Foreshadowing ftw. Now let me see if I can remember this:

1. 'Your song is ending, Sir.' - That's what they said in 'Planet of the Ood'. Could be referencing Donna's return? Or possibly the DoctorDonna's return?

2. Something about something returning through the darkness. AGAIN. We've had that one, thanks.

3. 'He will knock four times.' IF THAT ISN'T ABOUT THE MASTER THEN I WILL CRY.

We even got a next time trailer. And the blue suit will be back. Roll on November.

I'm so impressed! And I loved it! I admit, I had reservations when I first read the premise (I mean? A bus? In the desert?), but the whole thing was really enjoyable :D

'He will knock four times.' IF THAT ISN'T ABOUT THE MASTER THEN I WILL CRY.

I KNOW RIGHT. I ALSO THOUGHT THIS.

I actually remember thinking it sounded quite cool, but the closer it got, the more anxious I became. I'm glad my first thoughts were correct.

Yeah, been there, done that one. I'm highly curious about what it's referring to this time, though.

I totally didn't even notice that the blue suit was back in the next time trailer? I fail at, like, seeing. I think I was too busy shouting "Cloister Bell! Cloister Bell!" I'm very sad that we have to wait until November, instead of just a week. But you know what IS next week? THE GUV.

It had better be something totally different, that's all I'm saying.

And yes, GUV. I had never been happier to see a trailer, seeing as I was so happy at how good Who was.

Nope, there was still massive science fail. Even setting aside the dubious idea that billions of creatures swimming in circles could create a wormhole in space, you have the bus moving in any direction other than up or down: it has no way of creating horizontal thrust. The closest it could come would be smoke from the exhaust pipe which a) wouldn't be enough to move it anywhere quickly, and b) wouldn't happen anyway, since the bus was out of petrol. </end-geeky-nitpicks>

I enjoyed it, though not quite as much as I'd hoped to. On the other hand, Michelle Ryan was lots of fun, and I need more Ten/Christina now, yes.

To be fair, Doctor Who has been failing at science since Mondas.

Oh, sure, and most of the time it doesn't bother me. This was just such basic science fail that I couldn't ignore it.

Yes to all of this.

And how's this for an idea:

Turns out Lady Christina is the Master come back. Female!Master anyone? Sometime between now and the Christmas special, she dies and regenerates back into Simm!Master. The Doctor canonically kissed the Master then :P

It goes with the knock four times with the Master's drum theme in the background as the music. It also explains her bigger on the inside bag :P And her looking 'Time Lord'.

My mind goes in weird places sometimes.

And I want more Malcolm now.

About the "looking 'Time Lord'" thing, weeellll... Some theories in-'verse say that early Time Lords seeded the universe with life - sort of like that one episode of Star Trek - so most sentient life turned out on the Gallifreyan pattern - bipedal, bilateral symmetry, sensory organs on the head, that sort of thing.

Also. Master's theme? Totally didn't notice. Although I did start tapping out the four-beat with glee after that line. And honestly, since we probably won't be seeing anyone from the other side of the Void ever again, if the Master coming back from the far edge of death - AGAIN - isn't "coming back from the darkness", then they've got no feet to stand on.

It wasn't the Master's theme. I must have just automatically thought of it. It was either the Midnight or Davros music. I always get parts of them confused.

This is what happens when I don't think too much on something. Or think too much. I still haven't figued that one out yet.

Someone I know thinks its Davros coming back again. That would make me rip out my hair in total frustration.

Guess I've had enough of Daleks for a while...

And can you tell I have no idea how to properly answer your post?
